Yesterday was pretty cool. My hubbs got off work around 2, and then got home around 4, I think?
Once he got home, we got ready to head out. Plans were to go to dinner, and to the mall so I could take care of not only some shoppin (haha!) but to get a brand new phone.
Dinner was really good. We liked the appetizer of fried pickles, but we were stuffed when we left the restaurant and were on the way to the mall. For the meal we had a hickory cheddar burger, fries, and sweet tea.
Once at the mall I first went to Yankee Candle to exchange this one candle I ordered that was severely broken when I received it. Got a totally different scent of Home Sweet Home. Smells so good! I also got a medium and a large candle. Scents were Strawberry Buttercream, and Carrot Cake. Ya...talk about getting hungry huh?
After that I went to VS. Got a rollon perfume so I could get some free panties! That was the cheapest item I could find. The perfume is pretty good. It's kind of fruity. I also got the last free perfume sampler there. Haha, my lucky day!
Ohhh...so I said I had to get a new phone and I didn't even tell ya about it. This phone kicks butt! It may not be a black berry, or a iphone or whatever. But it actually just came out last week. It's a Sony Ericsson. It's teal, and it's awesome! It totally blows the old phone outta the water!
After VS I was thinkin about going to Penney's, but I didn't. The candles were heavy, so I went to Starbucks instead, ha! I got a marble cake loaf. The lady ringin me up thought I said "lemon loaf", and I said no. I wonder how she got lemon for marble. I see that lady sometimes and I always think she's weird. She didn't even offer me my receipt, and then copped an attitude when I asked for it. No, she's not young...she's not even that old, but whatever. I won't go there again if she's there. Anyways
After that I went over to meet up with my hubby. He watched my Yankee Candles and then I went to Old Navy and got this scarf with a coupon I had! Yay for new accessories.
The final stop before headin home was HEB. I got a meal deal where you buy catfish, and get some free stuff. And, would you believe...they had the voila meals 2 for $4 and I forgot to pick them up! I was in a hurry because my hubby eye was bothering him. Might head to an HEB today or something.
Nothin more to say right now so I am gonna go.
Not sure of the plans today, but Happy Friday!

Feel better soon
Yep, hubby is sick. Poor baby. Had a fun weekend in Del Rio, only to come home and get sick. That sucks. I feel so bad for him. Had to start a new job on Monday, attend training today, and on top of that, work at his other job too! What a trooper! It was good to see him when he finally arrived home around midnight, but sad that he's not feeling well at all.
I was a busy girl today. I studied for my exam, which by the way I have one more day till I take it. Can't believe the class will be over on Thursday afternoon. Craziness! But then again, I say that at the end of every 8 weeks. I am not even looking forward to this new class, but I am going to give it my very best. I don't give up anything I do anymore. My hubby even said...just try it 2-3 times and then ask for help, so at least he's willing to help, and my professor from what I've read about her seems very enthusiastic, and nice, so that's always welcoming.
I also looked at some jobs, and applied for this nanny position. It's about a mile from where we live, and it pays pretty decent too! Hope I hear something from the lady. She even said in her bio that she'd consider dropping off her baby at our house. Well, if I am lucky enough to score the job!
I did a load of dishes, folded the rest of the clothes, and made a good dinner!
I also found the time to watch some of the olympics, which I don't even think I watched a lot of. Just bits and pieces of figure skating. Come to think of it, I used to watch figure skating all the time in past olympics.
I saw something on the news about special olympics. To see the joy on the kid's faces that participated in them was so neat. Those children are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I wish everyone treated them just like they'd treat anyone. Just because they look a certain way, doesn't mean anything. They are just as deserving as anyone.
It snowed today! Yep. It was so pretty. We didn't get nearly as much as we did in December, and it also didn't stick this time around, but it looked as though you were looking at a snow globe. Fascinating! I used to love those things when I was younger. You could let me be, and I'd just sit there and gaze at it for awhile.
Ever since my hubby arrived home, I have been so much more appreciative of him. Seems that when he's gone for a period of time, I sit and think of how great of a man he is, and how much he does for us. He's really held our relationship together for a good bit. Times when we argue and fight, it might not appear that I appreciate him, but I sincerely do. I don't know anyone who's more hard working, and so responsible than him. He amazes me everyday. Plus, he's smart, and good-looking, and very sweet. Ah, I just love him. I really do. He's my baby ;)
Woah...just looked at the clock. I did not want to go to bed this late. Only reason why I am up so late is because my hubby was snorin' so I got up. I could have went in the other room to sleep, but that bed sometimes makes me sore.
On that note, I am gonna wrap up this entry and get some rest. Hubbs only works at CVS today, but I don't know if we're gonna get out for a bit, or stay home till he goes to work. Guess we'll see...he said he does need to take his last final for school today.

The hubbs has made it home & our evening together
A little before 5 my hubby got home. YAY! I missed him. I am glad that he seemed to have fun in Del Rio. It was a weekend for a LOT of the guys in the fam. to go huntin' and whatever else they do at the deer lease. BS and drink...I guess.
It's a damn shame my period had to arrive almost 3 days ago. Hubbs said he wanted me, as I did as well. My period is never welcomed! But us women HAVE to have them. Ugh...damn female stuff.
My hubby was so sweet to go and get us dinner. He volunteered. I welcomed that very much, especially since he doesn't have a lot of money. Money is still an issue here in our household, and I hate that. I hate having to worry about money. Everything costs money and it sucks. He got us Taco Bell and I have to tell you...it wasn't that tasty. Too much seasoning or something. We should have just gotten Subway, or I should have whipped something up real quick.
After we ate we watched a lil Family Guy. We both love that show. Then, we actually watched Desperate Housewives together. My hubby doesn't like that show...but he'll get into it though! Was a good show actually. Well, I say that to just about every episode. Tomorrow evening should be good tv alright...Bachelor: Women Tell All...great, Rozlyn and I believe Michelle might make an apperance. I'm really anxious to watch it! Then we all know what's gonna happen in another week right, or is it two? Jake picks the girl he's gonna be with...and from what I've read it is supposed to be Vienna...and that's fine, if that's who he really wants to be with. I just thought that guy was a lot smarter than to pick Vienna, and I'll probably give up on the Bachelor after this. Seriously.
Wow, it's almost 1:30am. I had better get to bed! Sooo glad to have my sweet hubby home. Felt so lonely in the bed for the past few nights.

Great...so the woman doesn't know how to dress.
She makes me so sick. This, and tons of other reasons I have for not liking that crazy hag.

Friday evening, and it's just me at home
It is Friday evening ,and it's just me here at home. My hubby went on a trip to a deer lease with a lot of guys in the family. I am almost positive they'll have a good time. Drinking + hunting=good guy trip!
Sooo...I have no big plans. At all. My sinuses have really been acting up. Thankfully I'm feeling better.
I thought about watching a ton of shows on our DVR to catch up. There is close to 60 something shows on there. Too much! I've also thought of watching some of my favorite movies, maybe ordering a pizza while I watch them, and then another day I thought of doing my nails or something fun. On top of all of that I have an exam to prepare for. I am not stressing that much as it is open note, open book exam. Only thing I really need to do is read over the study guide and find where the answers are...in the notes, and the book.
That's about all I have for now. I am gonna go and try to enjoy my Friday evening!
